On Saturday, October 21, 2017 volunteers from Post SL of the Missouri Division sponsored a booth at the West County EMS and Fire’s Annual Fall Festival. Post SL members distributed over 1,200 CHAD stickers, Scholarship Trust brochures and Officer Ollie stickers along with nearly 500 Halloween bags and lots of candy. The Fall Fest also included a bounce house, pumpkin patch, coloring contest, face painting, and lunch. Children and adults in attendance had a chance to get up close with the department’s trucks and equipment. The weather was perfect and thousands attended the event. Volunteers included: Dana Kurtz, Jeremy Schwartz, Bill Lang, John Lang, Cindy Kurtz, and Pat Kurtz.
