Sonya Furgurson, Halifax County 4-H Youth Development Agent, Virginia Tech Extension Service was the guest speaker at the South Boston Post D Travelers Protective Association’s January meeting. Furgurson spoke about the many accomplishments of the 4-H Club members from Halifax County and the work of the leaders and sponsors, as well as the club members. She discussed the new horse project and the need for volunteers to help with the project. Two members of TPA Post D are involved with the program.
