The Virginia Division of the Travelers Protective Association (TPA) recently held their annual meeting in South Hill.  During the business session the division elected its new officers for the 2017-2018 year.  Donald “Spec” Campen was elected state president, Alice Gourley was elected vice president, and Harrell Jory was elected state secretary/treasurer.  National director Carlyle Wimbish was in attendance and gave a motivational speech.  Frank Gourley was recognized for writing 25 members for the second consecutive year.  The division also raised funds for both of TPA’s charitable arms, the Scholarship Trust for the Hearing Impaired and the Homer T. Wilson Benevolent Fund.
