4th Annual 5K Fun Walk for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Where: Roseville Central Park Victoria West
Foundation Picnic Shelter
2495 Victoria St. North

Time: 9:15 a.m. Registration
9:30 a.m. Fun Walk Begins

Directions: The shelter is located off Victoria Ave. From Interstate 694, take Lexington Ave. South, turn East on County C and south on Victoria Ave. The shelter is on the right about 1/2 mile south of County C. From Highway 36 take the Snelling Ave or Dale St. exits north to County Road B2 turn left, drive to Victoria Ave and turn north. The shelter is about 1/4 mile north behind the tennis courts.

Registration at the event will begin at 9:15 a.m. with participants starting the course at 9:30 a.m. Walkers will complete three round trips of the lake path of 1.66K per lap.

When you get your registration form, consider taking the team challenge and teaming up with four other individuals to do the Fun Walk. Listen to KTIS 98.5 AM and WWTC 1280 AM Radio for our ads.

The Scholarship Trust Fund was formed in 1975 to provide financial aid to individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing by providing assistance in obtaining mechanical devices, treatment or specialized education such as speech classes, note takers, interpreters, etc., and in other areas to help the deaf and hard of hearing.

The Trust is supported by gifts and contributions, and from the income earned on investments of Trust funds. All contributions to the Trust are tax deductible, as defined under the Internal Revenue Code for 501(c)(3) organizations. Over $2 million dollars has been distributed to more than 5,000 recipients and more than 99% of the income earned on investments and donations has been awarded to recipients through the Trust since inception.
