Post L of the Pennsylvania Division held its annual summer picnic at the North Catasauqua playground in Lehigh Valley on Sunday, August 27, 2017. It awarded $1,000 from the Post L Deaf and Near Deaf Trust Fund and also honored 50-year members. The event was well attended by forty-seven members and guests.
Patricia Palencar, chairlady of the Post L Deaf and Near Deaf Trust Fund, presented a check for $1,000 to the parents Nick and Larissa Noto of Breinigsville to be used for medical expenses for their five year old son Gavin.
