Dear Youth Team Sponsor,
As the cold winds blow in from the northwest, it is time to wrap up some Christmas presents and also wrap up another year of youth recreational sports. As always, the kids had a great year learning new activities and sharpening their skills. The programs provided at the fees that were charged would not have been possible without your assistance.
I have the good fortune to see the results of your sponsorship first hand. I see a hundred faces looking at me at the start of the program and each child is wondering what this is all about. A few minutes later they are wearing your shirts, and with the help of a volunteer parent they are off and running as a member of your team! Promotion of your organization is another nice benefit of your sponsorship but there is a third item that ties in nicely with the Christmas season. When our programs are completed, we have quite a few shirts left over from the over 100 teams that get sponsored each year. Those shirts find their way to a poor country somewhere in our world where another child receives your gift. A brand new jersey with a number on it is a very popular item with kids around the globe!
