Members of the Tennessee Division gathered at a luncheon on February 13, 2017 to welcome Albert M. Shoemaker, Jr., chief administrative officer and his wife Paula, the local chair of the 2017 annual convention.  The group discussed the possibility of the division hosting the 2018 convention.  Potential sites include the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Nashville area.  Some of the officers in attendance were national board director Charlene Harman, Tennessee state secretary Danny Harman, and past state secretary Bobbie Daniels.

Tennessee is nicknamed “The Volunteer State.”  Major tourist attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, and the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum in Nashville, just to name a few.
